10/15 - Final races have not been good to me in the past and the night got off to a rocky start when I broke a header and power steering pump resevoir in hot laps. But, I ended up with a pretty good draw and started the feature in the 3rd position. A few laps into the race the two cars that started on the front row got together and one of them spun. I restarted in second and held on to the position for several laps before another caution flag flew. A couple laps after the restart, I got passed and fell back into third. We went green for the remainder of the event and I brought it home in third place. This year I saved the best finish for the last race. Already thinking about next year! |
